Spanish

Spanish is a Romanish language deriving from Latin. Spanish is spoken in Spain and most countries in Latin-America (not in Brasil) and is as such one of the main world languages. The language is spoken by about 417 million people whereas 352 millions are native speakers. Spanish is one of the official languages in the UN and the CEE.

Spanish is also called Castilian and is the official language in Spain where other languages also exist – such as Galician and Basque. Written Castilian is regulated by “Asociación de Academias de la Lengua Española” which represents the union of all the separate academies in the Spanish speaking world.

Listening

... is central in ARM Language Training. Learning to perceive and understand speech is a major part or language training. One often talks of "an ear for language".

Talking

Repeating what one hears is an important part of Language Training. After listening to the phrases, you record yourself saying them, and compare to the model voices. This is an effective method for perfecting your pronunciation.

Reading and writing

You can always see the phrase you are working on. Fill in the missing sounds. The system immediately tells you if you are right or wrong. This both focuses your listening and teaches you to write (and thereby read) in the language your are learning.
